We are sad to announce that Pastor Brad went home to the eternal presence of God following a battle with pancreatic cancer. He is sorely missed by the congregation and the community.
Here, we try to model the love of God as found in 1 John 4: 10-11, "This is love; not that we loved God, but that He loved us ... dear friends, since God so loved us, we ought to love one another." I encourage you to come and visit and see that love in action--love for God, love for one another, and love for the broken and hurting in our community. There is information on our site about services, directions, mission opportunities, and contact information.
Zion is currently searching for a new pastor.

• The Bible is the infallible, inerrant, inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
• God in His grace and mercy sent His only Son Jesus Christ to redeem the world from sin and death. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and there is no other name by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12) and no other way to heaven and the Father (John 14:6).
• God loves all men (1 John 4), but those who do not have faith in Jesus are lost to condemnation (Matt. 25: 31-46). Therefore, we are called to share our faith in Jesus, and bring His love to others (Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:19-20).
Zion is affiliated with and shares the beliefs of the Evangelical Association of Reformed and Congregational Christian Churches.

Our service is both informal and traditional. God's Word and our response to it is at the heart of the service. We hear God's Word and respond in prayer, praise, and music. We have communion the first Sunday of every month. A typical service normally lasts about an hour. Children are encouraged to take part in the service, even if they can sometimes be a small distraction. We want them to experience everything that is going on, including a form of communion when we have it. There is a children's sermon every week where the kids will come down to have time with the pastor. We have a cry room available so parents need not stress out when their kids act up.
